The Watch
My wrist is constant
Glance and turn
I’ve things to do
Got cash to earn
My watch is wary
It keeps me jumping
Precariously
My heart is thumping
Wish I could just toss away
Worry not the time of day
Need no device to tell me so
To always be more on the go
Tick tock the time goes by so fast
When at home I rest at last
But set the clock before I sleep
Dare not lose track of time I keep
