I am sponge, I soak stuff up
Runneth knowledge out my cup
Erudition, I absorb
Culture I am quick to hoard
There is no point I’m saturated
Being parched makes me frustrated
I seek out craft, enlightenment
Substance of most any bent
Informs my life, my work, my art
Fills my soul and stokes my heart
Implore I do, to those who seek
Be well-informed of what you speak
Keep mind engaged, passion burning
Commit to live a life of learning
For only then does world lie open
For answers you’re no longer groping
Broad-minded you will face the dawn
With blight of ignorance long gone!
