Look Round in Awe

 

Pass it by without a glance

Tho morning light on dew will dance

Our heads tilt down without a clue

Of sky o’erhead a brilliant blue

Our ears are plugged with plastic bud

The birdsong lands with silent thud

I beg you shed this isolation

Instead look round in awed elation

For there is universe to see

In every branch of blooming tree

In every meadow left between

Two asphalt slabs begs to be seen

As industry hijacks our lives

Nature stubbornly still thrives…
