Daily Poem
Look Round in Awe
Pass it by without a glance
Tho morning light on dew will dance
Our heads tilt down without a clue
Of sky o’erhead a brilliant blue
Our ears are plugged with plastic bud
The birdsong lands with silent thud
I beg you shed this isolation
Instead look round in awed elation
For there is universe to see
In every branch of blooming tree
In every meadow left between
Two asphalt slabs begs to be seen
As industry hijacks our lives
Nature stubbornly still thrives…
