Moms are super, moms are great
Baking cookies, washing plates
Working working, never sleeping
Worry worry, how we're keeping
Always ready with a hug
When we're sick with bad flu bug
Never caring how they're feeling
They need to right a world that’s reeling
Though rewards are far and few
They'd not change the things they do
Deserve much more than card and toast
Let’s show them we love them the most
Let’s thank them with the biggest heart
For doing much more than they’re part
We may fall short and flub a bit
(And hope a brunch makes up for it!)
For mothers here and mothers gone
Stepped into roles when there were none
On this day and all days ever
