Like the Energizer Bunny
Batteries are so annoying
Never have ‘em when you need ‘em
With my patience I know they’re toying!
When it calls for certain kinds
Here is something guaranteed
You will search through all your house
And never find the size you need
When you buy ‘lectronic stuff
A battery is what you’ll lack
But you won’t know till you get home
To the store you must go back!
You think the answer’s to recharge them
Yet it takes a couple hours
Even then, you’ll go to use
And crazily it’s out of power!
I hope one day it’s obsolete
The cursed wasteful battery
That one day we are free to be
