Live Well, Do Good

Writer's picture: Theresa BaxterTheresa Baxter

Here’s hoping that throughout the day

Attention you will hardly pay

To all the things meant to distract

To feel against us odds are stacked

If we encounter slightest hitch

Into a spiral we get pitched

Instead let’s find a multitude

Of goodness from a happy mood

I know, I know this all sounds trite

So many things go wrong, not right

But at the end of day I find

It’s best to let ourselves unwind

Find solace in our home and hearth

Be thankful for our place on earth

Well-rested spirit has more space

To make the world a better place

And peaceful state comes to us when

We rise to live well once again!
