I do so admire the creative chef
I always go straight, they zig to the left
They’ll take ingredients simple and good
Transform them into spectacular food
I watch in awe as they dice and they toss
While I need recipes or I am at a loss
They see food in colours like artists they are
That’s why the chef is a true superstar
I wish I had all of their ingenious skills
Entice all your palates with new tastes and thrills
Instead I’ll devour all the food that I want
Applauding their prowess in great restaurants
As one who has learned all the tricks of the trade
But still cannot touch the grand food that is made
I’ll shower their brilliance with huge accolades
And feast wherever their splendour is laid!
