Five shades of blue
If them you seek
They're peeking through
They find the shade
Will spread their seed
Then sun and rain
Is all they need
Popping up
Most everywhere
They'll pilfer ground
Without much care
But like most things
We take for granted
We find delight
In blooms un-planted
With dogged will
And by perchance
In meadows green
Where fairies dance
This wee blue bud
Will ever grow
Pure dreamlike shades
Of indigo
